It's exceptionally convenient! The location is also ideal: close to the sea, only about 45 minutes from Pisa, and right in the heart of beautiful Tuscany. From here, you can enjoy wonderful cycling, hiking, visiting cities, or simply swimming in the sea. I feel very comfortable here every time and can recommend this accommodation 150%. We stayed 2 nights at La Matassina Tuscany. What can I say? A beautiful location, run by a brother and sister who love it like a son. Guests have access to a kitchen with a fixed station per room where you will find pots, glasses, plates, tea towels... basically everything you need, refrigerator, 2-gas stove, sink and outside a barbecue and swimming pool (obviously still closed). The rooms are beautiful, spacious, warm and very well-kept as are the other areas! Breakfast was wow, they opted for 4 options to choose from the night before, the Gourmet, the Energy, the Vegetarian and the Nutritious (in the photos 3 choices, the vegetarian is missing which we did not try) plus a buffet with juices, jams, Nutella, hot drinks, etc.! The location is in the middle of nowhere but very close to the sea, for us who live in the middle of nowhere it was a pleasant surprise... it is still an excellent starting point for visiting the hinterland, we have been to Siena and San Gimignano among other places, covering about 100 km in 1 hour and a half! We will definitely be back not only for the structure and its owners but also for the excellent oil they produce and the wine made as it once was! Thank you so much for how you welcomed us ♥️
